Ok so, I was told this duet was very very dark, like almost pitch black. I finished book 1, she, and was like I mean it was dark but I wouldn’t call it pitch black so that left me a little hesitant with book 2, he, even though I really enjoyed book 1. I was thrown for a loop with the ending of book 1, then thought I know where book 2 was going to go. Ya. No. Think again.Y’all. Hold on to your pants for book 2 because holy moly. That is some of the darkest stuff I have read. Did the author make me cringe? YES. Did I still enjoy it? YES. For me, if an author can make me cringe with words on a paper, they get all the stars. Please note, there is some taboo relationships within this duet. No, it is not between the MCs but one of the MCs and other side characters.

She: So many emotions ripped from me…some at the same time, gutting me, leaving me bare. This book is dark, raw, twisted and will leave you breathless. I couldn’t read fast enough. This story will rock you, shake you, break you and leave you open and vulnerable. Prepare yourself….Dark romance lovers, welcome. He: The psychological thriller continues in HE (part two of the She/He Duet). This book takes everything you think you know, and flips it upside down and wrecks your thoughts like a Category Five Hurricane. This book is for those readers who like the dark and laugh in the face of triggers. Come step into the pitch dark and leave everything you know at the door…

SHE:“My actions do not have to make sense; love doesn’t make sense.”Shocked, happy, scared, angry and heartbroken are a few emotions She, by Kailee Reese Samuels, pulled from me. I definitely needed tissues while reading Natalie and Joe’s story, and at the end a heavy drink and a smoke….I don’t even smoke!!“If fate exists, then love blooms upon it like a growth, a mold, a toxin—those signals couldn’t be ignored. She was mine from her birth just as I was hers.”This is the beautifully dark love story of Joe and Natalie. ‘She’ is told in Joe’s POV which I absolutely loved. Since the first chapter I started falling for Joe. He is caring, focused, determined and a little obsessive. Natalie is beautiful, brave and damaged, some may even call her twisted. I was automatically intrigued by her and cannot wait to get fully inside her head. Her history is truly gut wrenching.“I must tear her from the seams and stitch her back together again”There are a few parts in the story that I can honestly say I did not see coming. Two scenes had me squirming in my seat and left unsure about my feelings and thoughts on the situation. I had to put the book down both times to process what I just read but I ended up loving the little turn of events. There is a certain side character that I loved to hate and another one in which I wanted to jump on his bike and run away with forever.“There is a point in our lives where we cross over a threshold for which we can never return.”I had goosebumps the entire time while reading the last chapter. I certainly didn’t expect the plot twist we are given but I should learn by now that KRS is full of surprises. Every second of this book had me on the edge. Their love is hard, deep and not always pretty, I found myself drawn to the darkness of it.“We can change and grow together. Or we can mutilate the love into nothing.”This is a duet so fair warning it ends on a cliffhanger but wow what a cliffhanger it was. I’m desperate, nervous and going out of my mind waiting for He, the conclusion of their story. She is a definite must read. If you are looking for a book that will hold you captive and leave you begging for more, you need to read this!!“I will ride with her to hell and eternal damnation holding her hand because that is what love does.”HE:“I will make them scurry out from beneath the surface and take sight of all the ugly. The light will burn them and leave nothing but ash.”Holy hell I need a moment to collect my thoughts, my heart, my feelings, and my breath. Going into this book I needed answers. Will everyone make it out okay, will everyone be punished, and most of all, how will it end? We are given Natalie and Joey’s dark, twisted and at times beautiful journey in HE.“We still as every pain and pleasure she has ever known become mine to keep, and I become the one to carry her burdens and enjoy her bliss.”The horrors that Natalie has had to endure are beyond horrible but she is brave, tough and I would go as far to say that she is indestructible. I’ve been waiting to get inside her head and I loved her voice. Joe is out for blood. I fell in love with him even more in this one. He definitely proved, without a doubt, he is not a weakling. Both characters grow and become stronger and fiercer.“I won’t suppress my evil as I let the madman inside of me take hold. And be one very unkind motherf….r.”This book, this duet had me in knots. I have never read anything quite like it before. The first book was dark but this one is pitch black. Some parts were painful to read but Joey and Natalie’s love shines through the darkness and is beautiful, strong and unconditional.“I’m the sun and wind and rain—I’m going to watch you grow into a marvelous masterpiece.”KRS always challenges and pushes my boundaries until I’m on the edge grasping for more. I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll just say that I absolutely love when authors cross over and intertwine characters within a new book. I couldn’t be happier with the ending and the last chapter actually made me giddy. Yes, giddy!! If you crave the dark I highly recommend this duet.“Our island will surface from the waters in our rebirth. I must believe. I must have faith.”

SHEI am wrecked, totally and completely. This read will take you to the edge and wring you out.WARNING: NOT FOR THE TENDER HEARTEDI was drawn so deeply into this story, it made me feel so many emotions throughout it all. I fell in love with the main characters:Joey for his innocence, his everlasting hope for good even when confronted with a world he has no idea how to handle and a girl he just cannot not love.He tries with everything he is to *help, cure, and protect his Queen. Through all the ups and downs he never expected from even his own familial secrets.Natalie, an injured, twisted dove who’s life has never truly ever been her own. See’s more in Joe than she ever expected, needs more than she ever dreamed and hurts more than any one person ever deserves. Natalie is living a life of deep entrenched demons, with no clear way of serving them. Everyday is a journey through hell of its own making.Together they grow, and learn more about their demons, hers dark and twisted, his lost and clueless, but becoming dark and twisted as well.I felt the hurt, the agonizing loss of everything portrayed in this book, it felt as if I were reading a persons diary the way my emotions were pulled left and right. This Author has an unbelievable way of pulling you deeply into her writings, she makes the characters real to me as if I have known them and their life stories. Thank you for opening your mind and heart, and sharing these amazing characters and writings with us.HEThis anxiously awaited book did not disappoint. You truly need to read “She” before “He” to be sure to understand the intricacies of this story. The lives of Joe and Natalie are laid before us in all it’s heinous ugliness. This beautifully twisted journey of two lives intertwined around a cruel, decadent, licentious lifecycle that drags them into a darkness that will completely change them. The fact that a “Lightness” still can be found within not only their relationship but in themselves as well is surprising given what they have had to live through.Having read other books by this author, I found to my delight the interlacing of other characters from other stories, giving a lot more depth to all characters involved. I loved how this author was able to drag me into this story and made me feel the emotions surrounding these incredible characters.A tissue twister to be sure, I am sure these two are far from over, but I enjoyed how the author kept me enthralled with the story and her characters. Never expected many of the surprises that erupted within the progress of this monumental passage through these characters lives.

SheThese might be the first stories by this author that I’ve read but they definitely will not be the last! This writer grabs your attention from the get go, reels you in and keeps you dangling until the conclusion.Joseph or Little Joey Melton the youngest son of four boys is set to become a lawyer like everyone else in his family, a pathway chosen by his parents. He describes himself as ‘..an affluent, spoiled brat.’ I didn’t see him in that manner at first but as his past emerges, well he was more self aware than I realised. Natalie Blum is the second daughter of two college professors and has a twin brother. “…the fireball with cherry lips and lush curves.” (As described by Joe.)’She’ is Natalie and ‘He’ is Joseph, both embark on an incredibly dark journey.Intense hatred, which is such a deep and passionate emotion, is how I felt at times when reading this book. Towards both some of the characters and events that are described in the story, graphic but not overtly so. There are plenty of analogies to create a very clear mind map of this story. The emotional ride is no lame ‘hop in and go for a spin’ type you’d find in an amusement park, nothing amusing at all. There are plenty of twists and turns, so many so that at times it’s hard to keep up, although things are eventually explained carefully. The mystery heightens the further you go in the story.HeWe are immersed in the misery of Joe who has lost his wife Natalie and is grieving deeply. Told mainly from Natalie’s point of view, this explains the depravity of her family and community members. He is every bit as dark as She if not more however it answers all of those questions from book 1 and finally all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place. So many pieces are interwoven in an almost plaited design, it is very intricate.Natalie’s life has always been filled with darkness and dreadful demons. People she should have been able to trust were abusive and sick. How much one person is supposed to take is beyond believable and heart breaking. This story is at many times frightening, sadistic, savage, twisted, pure evil and more but at other times there are touches of of humour to lighten things, ideally placed too! There are warnings attached to this duet, take notice as they are real but if you don’t have triggers, and I hope you don’t, then I can safely say you are in fine a wild ride!

This an exceptional book by Ms. Samuels, at first glance you see the pretty cover and read the blurb and you think Ah, I know what this story is about, WRONG!!!! Nothing could be farther from the truth, so heed the warnings, this isn’t some fluffy sweet romance where someone seems to have strayed. This book deals with dark and disturbing subject matter, but a book you can not put down, you need to know more, where it’s going, omg it went there. The characters are both troubled in their own way, but you love Joe (Joey) & Nat, it’s a case of lust/love at first sight, but trouble from the start should let you know this will be a ride. Nat is a character I feel and relate to, but even now I feel for her, how does one survive and learn to live? Not easily and with loads of love, which we get with Joey, Mr. Unkind (oh my..hot) has his faults and learning what it’s take to be married with the obstacles they have is almost too much for him. Some of the characters in this book you will hate, some you may find understanding of and others you just love… Joe’s mom is the bomb, she want’s whats best for her lit Joey and she takes to Nat right off the bat, she becomes her mother and best friend and Randy… wow, a take charge kinda guy that you want to know more about (if you get my drift wink*wink). Just when you think you know how things will go, the author throws you a BIG curve ball, this story is full of twists and turns and the emotions?? You’ll smile and giggle a few times, you’ll want to cry and rage at other times, the gut punch at the end has me so thankful that He release in less than a month. And as rough as this book is to read, I will be rereading the night before He comes out, that way all the emotions are fresh again. DON’T be afraid to buy this book and read, because for its dark and disturbing subject matter, it’s a very real look into how one does or doesn’t deal with the horrific things that don’t always just go bump in the middle of the night. You feel this story and even when you want to slap Joe and Nat, you root for them and want to hug them and tell them it’ll be okay, you can do this and die inside when one more layer is revealed. My hat is off to the author for daring to take this on, excellent job.

Let me start out by saying I was warned by the author that this book was dark, very dark. I like dark romance. I like twisty, psychotic thrillers. This book goes beyond that. IF YOU HAVE PTSD OR I TRIGGERS, PLEASE CHECK OUT THE SPOILERS I WILL NOTE AT THE END OF THIS REVIEW!IThe first book is She and is told in Joey’s POV. Joey, who is from a dysfunctional family, is in college when he sees Natalie and knows the minute he meets her that she is special. He has one day with her but she blows him off and we don’t find out until much later why. He gets another chance and this time she gives in to her feelings for him. This book does have a deep love story interwoven amount the chaos that is Joey and Natalie’s life. Fractured, tormented by demons, confused, and addicted don’t begin to describe Natalie but we still feel for her and Joey sees beyond that to what she could be. He wants them to be not just “good enough for now” but ” good enough for forever. ” But fate has different things in store for them. This first part ends in a shocking cliffhanger. Luckily you have the next book right here. The 2nd book is He and it is told in both Natalie and Joey’s POV so we get more insight into Natalie’s life prior to meeting Joey and all about her demons. This book lets loose and will take everything you thought you knew from the first book and shake it up and put it in another dimension! What you thought is gone and the reality is unimaginable! I had trouble getting thru this book and I actually had to skim over some parts they were just too difficult to read. This is mankind at his worst. But I was vested in this book and I wanted to find out what happened to this couple. And through all the twists, turns, shocks and horrors, they do come out, scathed but together. The writing was superb and although I found the darkness a bit too horrifying, it was definitely a 5 STAR book!❇❇❇SPOILERS: INCEST, CHILD PORN, PORN, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, RAPE, GANG RAPE❇❇❇

SheThere are times as a reader that you cross paths with a book or story that changes the way you see things. How lucky you have been in the life you have and how things occur and happen in plain site. I have to honestly say that this is one of those books. It consumed me, evoked emotions that haven’t gone away. This thought provoking read has left me a mess, I am chilled to my core and at a complete loss for words or explanation. Its so hard to say anything about this storyline, every explanation will be a spoiler. All I have is. Nothing is as it seems, expect the unexpected and heed the warnings. This book isn’t hearts and flowers, it definitely isn’t pretty. But what it is, is real, honest and someones truth. This story will stay with me forever I feel and it just maybe one of the best books I have read. Don’t listen to the naysayers or just think its a simple book about an affair. Its far from that and I believe you should make up your own minds and take a leap into the unknown.HeI was honestly a little frightened to embark on this installment of the duet. But knew that I needed to know the outcome, I still can’t really explain anything that happens in this book as it is full of twist and turns and spoilers would be easy to give away. All I know is that my emotions are a mess, I really can’t get my head around that people actually do this in this world and hurt people with such cruelty and vileness.I have found again that this book has left a mark on me and it will be a long time before I will let this book go. I can honestly say this duet is one of the most interesting, informed and well written books I have ever had the pleasure to read. I love that this author didn’t shy away from a subject that is not nice, it isn’t all heart and flowers. It’s brutal, in parts disgusting but it’s someone’s truth, God it someone’s life.I really recommend this book and although it’s brutal. As some people say love is brutal but also beautiful too and in the midst of the crazy there was a whole lot of beauty. Bravo Kailee Reece Samuels.

“She is beautiful chaos” no other way to describe this book. I’m still sitting here wondering what in the world just happened. There are no words! The heaven and hell that is Joe and Natalie takes you as high as it does low. What do you do when your obsession becomes more than you ever imagined. Joe loves Natalie so much but he learns the hard way that love doesn’t make sense. Natalie has only known abuse her whole life so she seeks pain when she’s in pain. There is something sinister going on and now poor Joey is in the middle of the crap storm that is her life. I hurt so much for that sweet man. I hope current events do not make him forever unkind. My goodness this woman’s mind has no boundaries. When you think she can’t push you further she does. So many surprises, from such terrible heinous crimes to such kind loving moments. How this woman keeps her characters straight and doesn’t go insane writing is beyond me. You start to feel like these characters are real and you are sucked into their world. The love that Joe has for Natalie is so intense, some would even say insane. She is so much stronger than anyone really knew. I know it’s “just a story” but the really sad thing is such things actually do happen. The brutal reality of things that go on right under our noses truly scares me. I want to say so much about this book but I don’t want to give anything import-ant away. I will tell you hang on tight when you go in because it’s a heck of a ride. Don’t worry though it ends amazingly. There are so highlights in my Kindle from all the things I wanted to remember I might as well reread the whole book as to look at them. “If raised in an escalating climate of violence, one must accept increasing amounts of torture in order to survive ” it’s amazing how much torture Natalie has been through, I cried for the lost child and wished to kill all those that harmed her. With a family like hers no one is safe. “Sex can hurt, but love can heal” Such intricate webs were spun to conceal the truth, I have no more words.

She:When you scratch an opaque surface you are checking to see what’s underneath. In She, we, the reader, get absolute gold. Joe, on the other hand, reveals a twisted, cruel world that totally pulls him into its sphere. As Joe says, ” Twenty dollars and a pack of Camels can alter the universe.” Disfunctional families are the least of it!!Told from Joe’s perspective, we get a ringside view of his head and the rapid mind bends he goes through and the growth/ development of his character. The book is full of such well developed and portrayed characters that they form an intense weave to the book. This first part of a duet needs a whole heap of adjectives and adverbs to describe it. For example: intense, unrelenting, sexy, eye watering, tender, cruel, fatastic! Have I done it justice? No. It’s all that and more, with a plot that kicks the living daylights out of you in the best possible way. As far as Kailee Reese Samuels is concerned, this applies to her… every day, in every way, I get better and better.I’m off to get false nails put on in preparation for He, as I have done damage to my own!!!He:Without so much as a drawn breath, He hurtles us into the intense second book of this fabulous duet. We are again submerged in a dark, sometimes savage, deeply disfunctional world that also brings us love, loyalty, courage and endurance. Both Joey and Natalie(particularly the latter) suffer both physically and emotionally and the disclosures will make your blood either boil or run cold at times.Another hurricane of a book which displays Ms Samuels unique and enthralling writing style. I can’t get enough of it!!

  11. Shanoone

Where to begin. Kailee Reese Samuels is an amazing author and has shown that she is diverse and can do just about anything. She’s taken on some very hard subjects lately and blown me away with her skill and ability to make you want to scream cry and laugh all at once. She was yet another example of this. I couldn’t put it down and each page drew me in more and more. There is some very dark twist and turns throughout this book but those are what keep you turning the pages. The main Character Joseph or Little Joey was just going through the plan. he was on the track his parents has set forth and he had never divaited from that set track. That is until the redhead whirlwind that is Natile walks into his life. From that moment on his life is turned upside down and inside out. Nothing is on the same track as it was. but because he loves her he will do anything he can to keep her. even when he doesn’t know what to do. Becuase love hurts and you have to do anything for love. and sometimes things are just good enough for now.Going to He After reading “She” I didn’t know what to think. like how could she do that all over again with ” “He” well after reading “He” just wow… Kailee has yet again surpassed herself and gone above and beyond with this book. Your heart will never be the same but its all for the better because this duet series is amazing!!! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

  12. Jayne Gibson

I’m not one, when writing a review, who talks about the plot of the book. In my mind, you should read the blurb for that. What I want to convey in this review is the depth of emotion, light and dark, that Kailee Reese Samuels is able to evoke from her readers. Never one to shy away from delicate subjects, this author can take us on a journey filled with angst and joy, fear and redemption, and she can package all of this up in a wonderful and thoughtful story. If you are one who has triggers caused by dark material, this book is not for you. But, if you’re like me, and I do love to explore all aspects of the human experience (even if only from a purely spectator position as a reader), you will get a great deal out of reading Kailee Reese Samuels. You’ll fly high and experience a character’s happiness but you’ll also fall down the rabbit hole and see the darker aspects of life. If you want to step outside of your ordinary world and take a walk through both the bright light and the utter darkness that comprises humanity, then this is a book for you. This is Kailee’s insightful imagination filtering through her words.I received a copy of this book for an honest review, which I gave. Highly recommended.

  13. Nat

SHEWOW…. now this is not a book for the faint of heart, this story will test you, it will reel you in and then spit you out and leave you feeling like… HOLY HECK what did I just read! This book was thought provoking, it was emotional as all hell… A beautifully tainted love story with a gigantic twist in it’s tail, you think you have the story all figured out when BAM you’re hit with yet another blindside! I cannot wait for the conclusion to this duet as I’m sure Kailee is not yet messed with our hearts or minds enough and I guarantee HE is going to be EXPLOSIVE!!HEWow what an ending to a decidedly dark and powerful story! This book picks up where She left off… with Nat a prisoner and Joe in hell. We learn a lot more about the sickness and cruelty that Nat endured while growing up in a horrific family environment. The strength and courage Nat shows to keep surviving in such a depraved world is nothing short of a miracle… with the deep connection she shares with Jo and using his love, Nat not only survived but she fought to get her life back! It was a disturbing but enlightening journey with so many twists and turns… a truly scary roller coaster ride from hell back into the light.

  14. Megan Alexis

No spoilers mostly. She had me twisted in knots. Swear, I honestly didn’t know where Kailee was taking me… I just knew I had to buckle down and go on the ride. She starts out as a slow burn. She teases and caresses, makes you want more but takes her time. Then once you’re hooked she strokes you to combustion and you’re left gasping for more. Anticipating the next touch. She is nothing like I was expecting and everything I needed. Kailee outdid herself on the dark with She. This book is not your typical romance. (That’s my spoiler). I cant wait for He to come out. As ever I am blown away by this authors ability to write with such grace and talent!! HE the sequel to She.. and seriously, I implore you to read She first, one so you’ll know what’s going on but 2, you will appreciate He all the more!!!He starts right where She leaves off and this journey doesn’t slow down. The love and anguish and pure treachery of this story is remarkable.Natalie is everything. Good lord that girl has suffered and endured and overcome. And where she may seem broken she is a mother effing warrior!!! Joe is her perfect match. Never failing, all consuming, loving…I cant say enough about this story!!!

  15. Scott Ryan

What did I like the most? The unpredictability. What did I like the least? Well, not so much dislike as feeling like I was in an elevator and the cable broke, and I was a smashed up mess in the wreckage of the elevator shaft. Just, wow. WOW!!I will not give away anything, but there may be triggers for some people. If you have been abused, be careful. Remember, it’s fiction. (and below is my review from book 2 (He))Damn. Wow. While there was not the same ‘pick my jaw off the floor’ (additional) twists as in She, a fair amount is revealed that causes rethinking earlier parts of the Duet. Still admire Joe for being so supportive and loyal. (maybe a bit thick here and there) and am so grateful Natalie took matters into her own hands (not that she had much of a choice) – you’ll know when you get there!!! And am so thrilled at the ending; was not sure it would come down as it did.If you have read She, then you know what to expect. If you have not, this is not for the faint of heart! Or the easily offended. But so absolutely amazing. And also loved a cameo appearance, and I should have but did not expect.

  16. SEB

I don’t find myself very often at a loss for words during and after reading a book…but this one hit me. At times all wrong, at times all right and at others left me simultaneously excited and repulsed. There are really no good ways to explain what happens in this duo that would not spoil the experience for the readers, so I won’t even try. Let me just say, take the wildest and most depraved fantasies you think a monster might have towards innocent children and some adults, add more than you think one human being is capable of enduring, sprinkle in a tortured hero who thinks he knows the way to heal and save the woman he loves…and you just have the tip of the iceberg of this very shocking duet.Read at your own risk, go in with a very open mind and see if you are strong enough to get to the finish line.***** 5 ***** “left gutted by a book” stars

  17. Nan3G

Kaille has a way of writing that will mess with your head and heart.  As soon as you think you have it all figured out She throws a twist in there that you will never see coming.  Joseph falls hard for Natalie.  He just wants to love her.  But so many things happen to make this such a hard task.  He finally starts to realize what he has to do.  But is it too late?  Has he figured out who to trust?  I can not wait for the next part.  Do Not Miss these books.Every time that I think I have everything figured out in a book by Kailee she goes and messes with my head. I find this to be a good thing. And He was no different. I felt the anger, the sorrow and everything else in this book. But I also loved the end to this duet. Do not miss this duet. If you like dark books you will love these.

She:This book is a fantastic read by an amazing author. Kailee Reese Samuels has a unique writing style that truly captivates me and always leaves me wanting more. Natalie and Joe are interesting characters and their story took me on an emotional ride with twists and turns that pulled me in. Great story, well developed characters and what a cliff hanger! He:Kailee Reese Samuels has written another fantastic book! You definitely need to read She, the first book of the duet to understand what’s going on but this duet is a definite must read. I love how much Joe loves Natalie and never gives up on her. These two go on quite an emotional, dark twisted ride on their journey of love and what an ending.

She…. A girl so lost she may never be able to be saved. He sees the beauty still inside. Natalie and Joe’s story begins. An intense journey that pulls you in and never lets go.He…. the Story of Joe and Natalie continues. To fight a monster, sometimes you must become one.A story that has left me breathless. Gripping and compelling. This story has a darker feel than She, yet you need to go there to comprehend the depth of the tragedies Natalie has endured. Joe’s unending love and passion for Natalie drives him to do whatever necessary to save his love. Natalie’s spirit and belief in the one person to show her the meaning of unconditional and true love keeps her enduring the pain, so she can find the light and love she knows she deserves.Emotional is an understatement when describing this Duet by Kailee Reese Samuels. A must read story of what the soul can endure when you find your Soulmate.

  20. Jaime Reynolds

I never know what to expect when I start a book by Kailee. You may think you know what happens but she takes you on such a ride that all you can do is hang on tight. Natalie and Joe’s characters were intense with so many twists and turns. I felt a lot of emotions and there were some quick breaths and flashback moments. Incredible author and her ability to weave these stories is amazing.Natalie’s and Joe’s story continues and it’s just as fantastic…if not more so…than She. He is the second part of a duet And it was dark and twisted with turns I did not see coming. I was hooked and could not put this down. I’m still processing and highly recommend this book and author. Just when I think she cannot get any better..she blows my mind.

Wow I was blown away with this story. This story isn’t for the fainted heart people as it has many dark twisted parts that may cause triggers. I so love the extra thought that has to go in to reading this book because you may have to stop to process what you have read to put it together. I love the mysterious ways this book is written as it will have you feeling the love hate through out this book will the love that can be over powerful enough to get you through your darkest times..

This is that one book that has you on edge at every page, wanting to slap some sense into someone and then wanting to throw your kindle/book across the room. Kailee has a way of weaving all these emotions in you and then just when you think you have it under control and figure something out BAM another twist! If you have not read anything by this author then i suggest you start with the suggested order from her website with The Story of Salvatore series going all the way to this book. Kailee has quickly become my go to author as I can not get enough of this Sal world and really cant remember the last time i was completely anxious waiting for answers…can not wait for more!

This Duet is by far the best books the author has written to date. A heart wrenching story about a girl with a horrible past that keeps taking over her present. Kailee has done an outstanding job with this Duet, she takes you places most authors wouldn’t dare. Hang on tight! This wild ride can make you cry as much as it makes you laugh.

Best advice I can give you is to mentally prepare yourself to dive into darkness. These stories will take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride, much like riding a new rollercoaster blindfolded and in total darkness, you won’t see the twists and dips and turns, but you will FEEL them.Kailee Reese Samuels is a brilliant author and brave beyond belief to be able to tackle such dark subject matter and while you will be horrified, her words will keep you intrigued and enthralled. Do take a chance on this duet, you won’t regret it!

WOW! These books are amazing, twisted and didn’t have any boundaries. I don’t know how many times I would read a sentence and my mouth would just hang open in shock. Sometimes, I would go back and re-read to make sure I read it correctly. Trust me, they do not disappoint. I look forward to reading more by Kailee.

This was an intense read. garanteed to run you through all kinds of emotions. Natalie goes through hell of epic portions. Joe learns to be a man & “unkind” while going through life. This is a must read duet, you will not put it down. Make sure you have plenty of time & maybe some wine on hand!

Okay this was my first Kailee book. There were times It was hard to read but OMG. I’ve never been so blindsided by twists before. This is probably one of the darkest books I’ve read but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Freakin incredible!
